Today's rant will involve the injustice of barre chords on the guitar and perhaps interesting engrish. Or laggy computers and scary games. Whichever.
Recently I admitted to being a complete idiot and went ahead to buy 'Guitar for DUMMIES'. The way they put the word 'dummies' in caps just drove it home. Anyways, obvious idiocy aside, the book was helpful. I also like the guys who wrote it because it had dry, tasteless jokes and was actually interesting to read. Not
1) Do this
2) Do that
3) Geddit?
The book also had this alternative F chord. It was called 'barre chord', which required one finger to hold down more than 1 string. Being a sad beginner, I was lamenting about the injustice of that, because I already had trouble holding down a string properly with a finger. Now one finger had to hold down moreeee? DDD: The guitar simply made the 'peke peke' noise. I just caaaaan't hold it properly! At some point one finger would shift out of place arrrgh D:<
Practice makes perfect! And painful fingers.
(It still hurts, actually.)
