Yesterday we recieved our UNSW results for writing and english. I can't believe I got distinction for writing! And I got credit for English! Last year I got participation for everything except science, which I got credit. Alot of people also got distinction for writing. Maybe it's because it is a narrative and alot of us are familiar with it.
Our maths teacher told us our UNSW maths results today. I got participation.
We still don't know about our science. I went to check the results but they didn't say what I got. They just showed the summary. But I think I might get distinction for my science.

Today I won my first(and second) game of checkers!
I played checkers with Wei Ling. She had never played it before so I taught her. Although I beat her at checkers, she beat me at chess. And she beat Gloria too! I can't really believe it because Gloria is really good at chess. She's even in a CCA 'boardgames'!
Then later during maths, I played reversi with Adeline. It seems to be the only game where I can win most of the time. After we finished playing reversi, we played checkers with the reversi pieces and the board(Someone borrowed my checkers set). Adeline had never played checkers before too so I taught her. Then Mr Ho came and he gave some of us back our Geoboards. Mine was missing three pins... Later he showed us a video about caves. Bats, glow worms, birds and all those animals.
After the video finished, we played checkers until the bell rang. I thought I was going to lose(Adeline is really good!) but I managed to get a 'double'(The one that can move as many steps as you want. That one rocks.) so I ate up all her checker pieces.
Anyways, because I tried to cram in all the checker pieces in with the reversi pieces, the board sort of broke. But I kinda fixed it.
