Today during science we went out for a project. We had to bring our cameras and take pictures of the different habbitats in our school. We had to take pictures of the organisms living in it.
We had to take pictures of these two habitats: Garden and leaf litter.
We found a huge leaf litter at the back of the field. It was quite steep and we went down by the side, along the drain. We found an ant-infested plant. It had tons of ants. My friend turned over a rock and found some ants. My other friend took a video of them carrying larve or something. We went up by a staircase-like thing by the tree.
Next, we went to the eco garden. We took lots of pictures of plants but we counldn't find any animals. We decided to search somewhere else. We even took pictures of ourselves. We found a butterfly and my friend caught a picture of it sitting/standing(?). Then we heard that they found a snail in the garden so we ran there. We took a picture of it. Then one of our class boys took a container, filled it with soil and placed the snail inside. We went back to class.
Next was PE so we went down again(sigh). We played floorball. I got whacked on the leg(very hard), hit by the ball and hit again on the ankle. But our team won. The ball hit me and bonced off and someone whacked it and it went into the goal. YAY!
The boys placed the snail in a container in a cardboard box. I wonder if it would be found crawling around the class once we come back.
Signing off.
